 If any one tells you Sodom & Gomorrah has not been found  please don't believe them but believe what the Bible tells us that God made Sodom & Gomorrah an example. If there's nothing to see and no evidence then how could they be an example? 2 Peter 2:6 New International Version if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; In Matthew 7:8 Jesus tells us

The Works of Flavius Josephus - How God Overthrew the Sodomites.
JOSEPHUS writes  
 It was of old a most happy land, both for the fruits it bore and for the riches of its cities, although it be now all burnt up. It is related how for the impurity of its inhabitants, it was burnt by lightning. In the consequences of which there are still the remains of the divine fire, and the traces (or shadows)     of five cities are still to be seen. 
So he confirms that these cities are still there, now to be seen and that they are all burnt up. Moral judgment aside, Josephus Flavius’ accounts have been proved largely accurate. Consider the photographs of the tons of ash, the buildings, shapes and shadows double Canaanite walls and many types of sphinx and ziggurats. The courses of old streams, walls, dams and weirs with mortar joints, structures lining the banks of the streams, strange looking buildings with a pointed roof. The white ashen remains stand out clearly against the backdrop of brown mountains and hills. There is a large fortress-like construction. There is an intact well constructed of the same materials as the fortress walls and embedded in the rock is hundreds of brimstone sulphur (death balls) just as told to us in Genesis 19 v 24.

The standard test on any subject is to line it up with the Bible. If these Bible Discoveries are supported by Biblical teaching it may well be sound. This is not a parable as many believe, as the SAME story is told in The Book of Enoch AND JOSEPHUS Discourse to the Greeks concerning Hades.   Enoch AND JOSEPHUS. state clearly that the same story told by Jesus in Luke 16.19 is the same. where the souls of the unsaved dead awaited Judgment Day and the unrighteous are detained, it is necessary to speak of it. Hades is a place in the world not regularly finished; a subterraneous region, wherein the light of this world does not shine; from which circumstance, that in this region the light does not shine, it cannot be but there must be in it perpetual darkness. This region is allotted as a place of custody for souls, in which angels are appointed as guardians to them, who distribute to them temporary punishments, agreeable to every one's behaviour and manners.

Yardenit batismal is a popular site in the south end of the Sea of Galilee. At this site, or to the south of this site, was the place where Jesus was baptized by John the baptist, an important event in the life of Jesus.
